Your instructors at Maxcess University have many years of combined experience in designing and applying components for the paper, film, foil, metals and nonwoven web converting and primary web manufacturing industries. Their experience ranges from the R&D lab to field installation and service of a variety of components for numerous applications and process lines. They regularly contribute to trade associations and industry publications and each one brings a unique perspective to their respective discipline.
Sean Craig
For over 18 years, Sean has designed and applied winding components for the web converting industry. His expertise ranges from reel spool solutions for primary tissue manufacturing to differential winding and ergonomic solutions for a variety of converting applications. He is a regular speaker for the CEMA Fundamentals for Converters Slitting and Rewinding seminars and has been published in Converting Magazine and AIMCAL Fall Technical Conference and AWEB publications.
Ken Hopcus
Ken joined Fife Corporation in 1979 as a Systems Engineer and has held several key positions throughout his career with the company, including Group Leader of Mechanical Design and Manager of Systems Engineering. In addition to his service at Fife, he spent 12 years in the aircraft industry as a Test Engineer and a Systems Design Engineer. Ken has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. He also represents Maxcess as an Industrial Advisory Board Member to the Web Handling Research Center at Oklahoma State University.
Robby Ross
Robby joined Fife Corporation in 1999 as an electrical engineer. He is now the Lead Engineer of the Web Handling Group. Robby has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Darrell Whiteside
Darrell joined MAGPOWR in August of 1999, assuming responsibilities for MAGPOWR’s international sales. In May of 2001, he was promoted to the position of Product Manager for MAGPOWR. He holds a BS degree in Industrial Science, with an emphasis on electronics and robotics, from Northeast Missouri State University.
Peter Wood
Peter brings over 10 years of experience in the Converting and Packaging industry to his position. Prior to joining Tidland, Peter worked for several Alcoa divisions in Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Customer Service. Peter has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Masters of Business Administration.
